]]> It’s official. Pumpkin season is here! In addition to picking up a Pumpkin Spice Latte (which celebrates its 20th year this fall!), we’re feeling the urge to share all of our autumn adventures with our friends and family. So in honor the season, we’ve put together our tips for creating Instagram-worthy content to (pumpkin) spice up your feed and stories. Scroll down to see our tips!

Start an Instagram “Add Yours”

Create a fun fall design in PicCollage, upload it to your story, and include the Add Yours sticker! Use the prompt “Something jack-o-lantern to kick off fall!” to see what fun responses you get! Be sure to tag us @piccollage so we can see and share what you’ve come up with.

Ensure Great Lighting for your Photos

One of the most important things to focus on when taking photos is the lighting. And it doesn’t get much better than at Golden Hour, the time shortly after sunrise or before sunset, when the light is redder and softer than other times of the day. Try to plan any photoshoots around golden hour for truly Instagram-worthy content. But if that’s not possible, use the Editor in PicCollage to make small changes in brightness, vibrance, and saturation to make those fall colors pop!

Make Your Stories Stand Out

]]> It’s official. Fall is finally here. We can feel that slight shift in the air. See the leaves starting to turn vibrant shades of red and orange. Taste the pumpkin spice. It’s a whole mood and we are here clapping hands for clapping hands it. So you can be sure that we’re creating fall mood boards with our favorite Fall photos and seasonal stickers.
One of the trickiest things about creating a digital mood board, however, can be the layers! You’ve got your design juuuust right and then you realize that one of your stickers accidentally got pushed behind a photo. Rather than moving everything around and they trying to replicate your design, just use our Layer Adjustment Feature! Tap the icon at the top left corner of your screen and then simply arrange your layers exactly how you want them! So. Easy.
